The Challenge

Suez, operating from over 300 locations across the UK, was keen to implement a highly resilient yet agile environment that would future-proof the business, minimise downtime and reduce costs.

The Solution

Focus Group rolled out Cisco Nexus 9000 and 7000 switches over two data centre locations, ensuring business continuity at all times. The interconnected data centres now use Cisco’s Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV) technology.

The Results

Suez will be able to add incremental capabilities in the future, adding capacity or moving resources to meet changing needs, incorporating new technology platforms, cloud services and converged infrastructures. The company is now able to handle whatever data capacity flows and demands the business throws at the IT teams.
